Ol Pejeta is one of the must see place in Nanyuki if your in the region. The largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, and home to three of the world’s last remaining northern white rhino. It is the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees. The conservation located in Kenya’s Laikipia Plateau, it ensures the protection of existing rhino, elephant, and other wildlife populations in addition to captive chimpanzees living in a 300-acre sanctuary.
Ngare Ndare Forest, a lush indigenous forest located at the foothills of Mt. Kenya, provides just the perfect atmosphere for lovers and gives you and your partner space to relax and enjoy the happy moments together. Azure pools glisten at the bottom of waterfalls and 200 year old trees stretch into the canopy supporting a rich variety of bird and animal life. Available activities include hiking, animal spotting, canopy walk and swimming in the natural blue pool.
The Equator Marker marks where the Equator line that passes through the globe exactly down the middle passes through Kenya . Here you will be shown how the water moves South and North of the Equator. It’s a great place to take pictures and make memories of how far you have traversed Kenya.
